About Us

The Africa Agriculture & Climate  Journalists Network (AACJoNET) , is a Continental membership-based Network of journalists who report agriculture and Climate-related issues in Africa, Established in April 2016 in Ghana –Acra at the sidelines of 12th Comprehensive African Agriculture Development Programme Partnership Platform by a group of 28 Agricultural Journalists drawn from 12 Countries (both Print, Electronics, Broadcast and online). The Network is a brainchild of the CAADP Journalist Network whose objective is to ensure wider understanding, tracking, and advocacy for the implementation of the CAADP in the African member states.

Over the years the Association has grown its membership to over 60 members drawn from different countries and African regions. The Association leadership is structured from National Associations, Regional Coordinators, and a Continental committee.

The SIX regions include South, West, North, Sahel, Central, and East.

“Improving livelihoods through positive agriculture and Climate reporting and creating an enabled, interactive communication structure between Africa’s rural farmers and policymakers ”
